Deputy Manager/Manager- Farm (Commercial Layer)

Job Description / Responsibility
- Manage full production cycle of commercial egg production to meet maximum target.
- Supervise the entire farm management procedure, look after the flock health and ensure flock uniformity.
- Maintain a healthy, disease free and safe environment for commercial layer flock by ensuring the strict adherence to bio - security standard of Kazi Farms.
- Monitor the feeding, vaccination, body weight, health condition etc. of the flock to ensure healthy flock management.
- Ensure farm hygiene during the laying period of commercial layer flock to ensure maximum productivity.
- Ensure proper management of litter removal, equipment & sheds cleaning, equipment setting etc. and conduct lab test to confirm disinfection in farm prior to new flock intake.
- Coordinate with Engineering team to execute scheduled, breakdown and repair maintenance in farm timely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate and on-time ERP record keeping and provide a report on flock performance status as accordingly.
Educational Requirements
- DVM/ B.Sc in Animal Husbandry from reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- 6 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Poultry, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Have experience and expertise in the commercial layer farm operation including feeding, vaccination and flock health management during brooding, growing and laying etc.
- Have the willingness to develop and pursue career in poultry industry Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have excellent analytical and problem solving skills, self-starter, works well in a team independently and adjust to changing priorities, critical and strategic thinker Have proficiency at MS Office Applications.
