Job Description / Responsibility

We are a globally recognized Denim garments manufacturer, seeking a Medical Officer. The ideal candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused, with the experience and initiative to manage workplace health, ensure employee well-being, and maintain top occupational safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
Oversee and manage all medical services provided by the plant.
Plan and execute health campaigns and wellness programs for workers.
Conduct awareness sessions on common workplace injuries and illnesses.
Educate workers and employees on hygiene best practices.
Ensure age and health verification of employees during recruitment and as needed.
Verify cases of permanent disability, occupational diseases, incurable illnesses, and mental health conditions.
Conduct monthly follow-ups for pregnant workers and provide guidance on essential nutrients, including vitamins, calcium, and iron.
Provide counseling on pregnancy risks, postnatal care, neonatal care, and breastfeeding.
Ensure timely execution of the monthly vaccination program.
Train First Aid brigade members and maintain First Aid box readiness.
Approve medical bills related to workplace accidents and illnesses from external hospitals.
Approve internal and external sick leave and prepare fitness reports.
Approve all maternity leave requests.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

Additional Job Requirements

Age 26 to 32 years
Only Female
Ability to lead and ensure standardized medical care for staff and workers.
Skilled in training the medical team and educating workers on health practices.
Capable of providing patient safety guidance and counseling.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management.
Excellent time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
