Job Description / Responsibility
  • Employer: OCTOBER4128 BD LTD., Mirsharai Economic Zone.
  • Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  • Job Location: Mirsharai Economic Zone (EZ), Bangladesh.
  • Job Summary: We are looking for an Individual or a Law Firm for the position of the Legal Counsel at our organization. The legal counsel will use their legal expertise and experience in corporate law, regulations to advise the company on all their legal activities and initiatives. They will share their legal perspective on every occasion and actions in line with the company's interest.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Providing legal validation and legal background check of the dealings with the other companies.
  • Providing legal advice on each initiative of the company.
  • Preparing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Providing the company sound legal opinion in respective matters.
  • Communicate with BEPZA officials, government agencies, and external stakeholders on legal matters.
  • Assist in obtaining licenses, permits, and approvals.
  • Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Support corporate legal documentation and regulatory filings.

Educational Requirements
  • Master of Law (LLM)
  • Bar-at-Law qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Expertise in Company/Corporate Law, BEPZA, board of Investment & Banking regulations.
Experience Requirements
  • 1 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age 26 to 45 years
  • Required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of BEPZA Law, corporate law & Industrial Law.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage legal deadlines.
  • Honest & smart.
  • Computer literacy and documentation skills.
  • Experience
  • 1–5 years of experience in corporate law practice.
  • Must be currently practicing lawyer in corporate law.
