Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- MBM Group is looking for a competent and process-driven professional to strengthen and oversee the implementation of Quality Management Systems across its apparel manufacturing units. This role will play a critical part in ensuring operational excellence, compliance with international standards, and continuous improvement of business processes in alignment with organizational goals and buyer expectations.
- The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Compliance, Technical, HR, and ESG to ensure quality-driven culture, audit readiness, and documentation integrity.
- Key Responsibilities
- QMS Implementation & Maintenance
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of ISO-based Quality Management Systems across operations
- Monitor compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality frameworks
- Maintain and update QMS manuals, policies, SOPs, and process flow documentation
- Standardize processes across departments for operational consistency
- Audit & Compliance
- Plan and conduct internal audits as per annual audit schedule
- Coordinate and support external certification audits
- Lead preparation for buyer and regulatory audits
- Identify non-conformities and ensure timely CAPA implementation
- Process Improvement
- Analyze operational gaps and recommend improvement initiatives
- Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues
- Monitor process KPIs and quality performance indicators
- Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain document control systems and ensure version integrity
- Prepare audit reports and management review documentation
- Ensure records retention in line with compliance requirements
- Training & Awareness
- Conduct QMS awareness and documentation training for employees
- Promote quality mindset across departments
- Support change management initiatives
- Cross-functional Support
- Collaborate with ESG, Compliance, and Sustainability teams
- Assist in risk assessments and mitigation planning
- Support process alignment for certifications and governance frameworks
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Industrial Engineering
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in: Industrial Engineering / Textile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Business Administration (with Quality specialization)
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor certification will be a strong advantage
Experience Requirements
- At least 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Third Party Auditor (Quality, Health, Environment, Compliance, Textile
