Job Description / Responsibility

Oversee all legal matters of the Group, including corporate, commercial, and labor-related issues.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Company Law, Criminal Law, Income Tax, VAT, Customs, and other regulatory requirements.
Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, MoUs, deeds, notices, and other legal documents.
Handle court cases, litigation, arbitration, and liaison with external lawyers and law firms.
Manage trade license, RJSC matters, land documentation, factory compliance issues, and regulatory approvals.
Represent the company before government authorities, BGMEA, BKMEA, and other regulatory bodies.
Mitigate legal risks and develop internal policies to ensure legal protection.
Supervise and lead the Legal Department team.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Law (LLB)
Master of Law (LLM)

Experience Requirements

12 to 16 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Real Estate, Textile

Additional Job Requirements

Age 40 to 48 years
Only Male
Enrollment with Bangladesh Bar Council is a must.
Should have strong knowledge of Labor Law, Corporate Law, Commercial Law, and Industrial Compliance.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Good communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive matters with confidentiality.
