Senior Officer / Assistant Manager - Store

Job Description / Responsibility

Lead and manage overall store operations including Raw Materials, Chemicals, Accessories, Finished Goods and Spare Parts.
Develop and implement store policies, SOPs and internal control systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Ensure real-time inventory management through ERP/software and maintain 100% stock accuracy.
Conduct regular physical stock verification (monthly/quarterly/annual) and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Monitor minimum stock level, reorder point and ensure uninterrupted material supply for production.
Ensure proper implementation of FIFO/FEFO system and correct material handling procedures.
Supervise receiving, inspection, storage and issuance processes with proper documentation (GRN, MR, Challan, Gate Pass, etc.).
Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Commercial, Accounts and Compliance departments.
Ensure proper storage conditions, chemical segregation, safety compliance and 5S implementation.
Control material wastage, damage, slow-moving and obsolete stock through effective planning.
Prepare inventory reports, consumption analysis and management reports on a regular basis.
Lead and develop store team members by monitoring performance, discipline and productivity.
Ensure compliance with internal audit, external audit and buyer requirements (FCCA, GRS, QAFA, etc.).
Take full ownership of the department and report directly to top management

Educational Requirements

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Masters

Experience Requirements

5 to 8 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments Accessories, Inventory/Warehouse, Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)
