Job Description / Responsibility

We are looking for competent personnel for the post of "Fire Officer" for Argon Spinning Ltd located at Nizampur, Fakirabad, Hobiganj Sadar, Habiganj. The incumbent must have initiative, experience & the drive to deliver high-quality results.
Job Description:
Maintain general fire safety, detection & protection system as required according to customer and law.
Set up and follow up firefighting equipment as per law and fire prevention Act.
Responsible for fire safety management, protection, NFPA & BNBC requirements to ensure fire safety in the company.
Monitor and ensure that the facility of fire hydrant & fire pumps is adequate and are working properly.
Daily walk round/floor visit & ensure firefighting equipment and follow up the daily checklist activities of the firefighting team.
Set in-house strong firefighting and rescue team in all the departments.
Ensure in- house fire training for firefighters, rescuers, new and old employees, and security personnel.
Responsible to conduct fire & emergency evacuation drills as per law.
Responsible to conduct firefighting training from fire service & Civil Défense authority
Monitoring & auditing fire safety for all the subordinates of the department
Develop & update the security system to maintain a safe work environment in the factory
Ensure safety compliance with the company policies and industry regulations.
Responsible to lead a fire safety team efficiently
Suggest improvement on fire safety
Conduct monthly training to all employee on fire safety awareness
Assist/Support to conduct all kind of internal/external/Buyers/3rd party audit.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
06 months Fire Safety Manager Course from Fire service and Civil Defence

Experience Requirements

3 to 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dyeing Factory, Garments, Spinning, Textile

Age 26 to 35 years
