Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- We are 100% export oriented and a large reputed footwear manufacturing industry seeking young, energetic, and motivated person to join our Compliance Team. This is an excellent opportunity in the footwear sector and grow with us through professional excellence.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure overall social compliance implementation in the factory according to buyer and international standards.
- Handle and face different types of social compliance audits such as amfori BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, Higg FEM, BEPI, WRAP, ICS, RCS, brand audits, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, labor rules and international workplace standards.
- Maintain compliance related documents, policies, procedures and records.
- Conduct internal compliance inspections and identify gaps for corrective actions.
- Coordinate with HR, Production, Safety and Management to maintain compliance standards.
- Assist in preparing audit reports, CAP (Corrective Action Plan) and follow-up activities.
- Ensure proper implementation of working hours, wages & benefits, health & safety, grievance mechanism and worker welfare.
- Conduct awareness training for workers and staff regarding compliance issues.
- Support management during buyer visits and third-party audits.
Educational Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration / Social Science / Law or relevant discipline from public or well reputed private universities.
- PGDHRM (Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management) will get preference.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Manufacturing (FMCG), Tannery/Footwear, Textile
Additional Job Requirements
- Experience in facing social compliance audits is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of labor law, social compliance standards and audit procedures.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Bangla.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
