Job Description / Responsibility
  • Health & Safety Monitoring: Regularly inspect factory hygiene, drinking water, toilets, and canteen facilities. Advise workers on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), machine guards, and fire safety. Make workers aware of Health, Hygiene and Safety issues. Observe different facilities including, the canteen, childcare, canteen, adequate number of toilets and latrines, drinking water, etc.
  • Ensure Floor Compliance & housekeeping: Visit factory floor daily to check & Ensure housekeeping and compliance issues.
  • Grievance Handling & Counseling: Address worker grievances and assist in resolving complaints effectively, provide counseling, and resolve conflicts, especially regarding wages, benefits, and workplace issues.
  • Training and Awareness: Conduct routine training sessions on labor rights, safety (OHS), and productivity. Assist in organizing training programs on workplace behavior, harassment prevention, and labor rights.
  • Workers' Support: Ensure fair treatment, manage day-care center personnel, and assist female workers. Ensure overall employee welfare and well-being within the factory premises. Act as a bridge between workers and management to resolve workplace issues.
  • Meetings & Support management: Organize welfare committee meetings, WPC, and Grievance meetings, preparing minutes and circulating. Improving worker satisfaction and reducing employee turnover,
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare the factory floor for buyer compliance audits. Participate in compliance audits and provide necessary welfare-related documentation.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain registers for maternity leave, grievances, workers' orientation, and training sessions. Maintain proper documentation of welfare activities, complaints, and resolutions. Prepare necessary reports and submit to management regularly, as and when required.
  • Labor Law Compliance & Welfare: Ensure all welfare activities follow the Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 and subsequent Rules (2015 & 2022).

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Human Resource Management
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Masters degree in any discipline
  • Training in Labor Law, Industrial Relations, or Social Compliance will be an advantage.

  • At least 5 years
