Job Description / Responsibility

Core Responsibilities for RMO
Emergency and Ward Patient Management:- Primary diagnosis of patients arriving at the Casualty/Emergency Department and admission to hospital if necessary.
24/7 Service and Rounds: Ensuring 24-hour uninterrupted service by coordinating with nurses to conduct regular patient rounds and keep patients updated on their condition.
Medical Supervision: Prescribing medicines to patients as per the advice of consultants or senior doctors and monitoring the progress of treatment.
Tests and Reports: Arranging blood tests, X-rays and other diagnostic tests and keeping the reports ready for review by senior doctors.
Medico legal Cases (MLC): Handling legal cases or medico legal cases with due diligence with proper documentation.
Resuscitation: Providing immediate resuscitation in critical conditions or in emergencies such as cardiac arrest.
Patient transfer and discharge: Recording basic information during patient admission and preparing discharge summaries.
Coordination and communication: Maintaining order in the hospital by liaising with other specialists, nursing teams and administration.
Typically, RMOs act as the "link" in keeping the hospital running, bridging the gap between the patient and the specialist.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital

Additional Job Requirements

Additional professional degrees will be preferred.
Experience:-
For RMO:-At least three years of experience as RMO in a 50-bed hospital.
For Duty Doctor:- At least two years of experience as a medical officer
