Job Description / Responsibility
- 1. Supervision & Monitoring
- Monitor continuous operation of the CCTV system across all company establishments.
- Ensure live monitoring of critical areas and promptly report security incidents, accidents, or mishaps to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate with the Security Department for immediate response to suspicious activities and ensure proper handover with relievers.
- 2. System Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Ensure all cameras, recording devices, and monitoring equipment are functioning properly.
- Liaise with internal or external technical support teams to troubleshoot hardware or software issues.
- 3. Data Management & Reporting
- Ensure CCTV footage is properly recorded, stored, and secured in compliance with company and legal requirements.
- Manage access to recorded footage, including archiving and deletion.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on security incidents and system status.
- 4. Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise CCTV operators or security staff, ensuring effective performance and discipline.
- Prepare duty rosters, assign shifts, review performance, and provide feedback to the authority.
- 5. Compliance & Legal Adherence
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to video surveillance and privacy laws.
- Coordinate with legal teams and auditors regarding data handling and storage compliance.
- 6. System Improvement
- Evaluate existing CCTV systems and recommend upgrades or improvements.
- Assist management in planning and budgeting for future security infrastructure enhancements.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Textile
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CCTV monitoring and security surveillance, including leadership exposure.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CCTV systems, DVR/NVR technology, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with AI-based surveillance systems will be an added advantage.
- Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze surveillance footage and identify suspicious activities
- Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and coordination
