Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- International Trimming & Labels (ITL) Group is a UK based Multinational company and manufacturer of garments accessories. ITL Group has global operations in 21 Locations over 35+ years of experience. International Trimming & Labels Bangladesh Private Limited (ITL-BD) is a sister concern of ITL group. And it is operating in Bangladesh since 2015. It is manufacturer and exporter of garments Tags, care labels etc.
- ITL-BD is seeking young, talented and aspiring candidate who is a team player and multitasker and would like to join our team and meaningfully contribute to accelerate business development and reach the organization’s goal.
- Job Description / Responsibility
- 1.Strategic Maintenance Leadership
- Capability to Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Capability to Design proactive maintenance programs — including preventive and predictive maintenance — to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
- Support budgeting and financial planning for maintenance department operations, including OPEX & CAPEX planning.
- 2. Daily Operations & Maintenance Execution
- Oversee all maintenance activities (electrical, mechanical, machinery & equipment).
- Plan, schedule, and prioritize maintenance work and repairs to maintain continuous production.
- Ensure timely response to breakdowns and emergency repairs to minimize troubles.
- 3. Team Leadership & Human Resource Management
- Capability to Lead, supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians, electricians and contractors.
- Capability to Set schedules, assign tasks, and ensure team meets performance and safety targets.
- 4. Budgeting, Cost Control & Resource Allocation
- Capability to Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and control costs.
- Evaluate vendor quotes, negotiate contracts for services and parts, and monitor contractor performance.
- 5. Compliance, Safety & Documentation
- Capability to Ensure all maintenance activities comply with legal, regulatory, health and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work including work orders/Requisition, inspections, asset inventory, downtime reports, and safety checks.
- Capability to update maintenance SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensure documentation is complete.
- 6. Continuous Improvement & Performance Metrics
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, 5S, TPM or reliability-centered maintenance.
- Capability to Analyze maintenance data for trends, root causes of failures, and strategies to optimize performance.
- 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Capability to coordinate with Production, Quality, Safety and Procurement departments to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering / B.Sc. in Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering / B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- 7 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments Accessories
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 40 years
- Candidates must possess strong knowledge of and practical experience with relevant machinery.
- Candidates with a diploma in an engineering discipline will be given preference.
- Basic knowledge of Python, Arduino programming, Rasp berrypy programming.
- Team leadership and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge on data analysis using Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
