Job Description / Responsibility
- Ventura Leatherware Mfy (BD) Ltd. a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise in Uttara EPZ, is searching for suitable candidate for the position of Officer - Finance & Accounts.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliation of sales, purchases, cash, and bank ledgers.
- Post sales, purchase, and other transactions into accounting software; verify local and international purchase bills.
- Maintain financial records including cash/bank books, general/party ledgers, and PF ledgers.
- Assist in budget preparation, monitoring budgetary control, and supporting internal/external audits.
- Check and process salary, final settlements, maternity benefits, and other compensation payments.
- Support in preparing annual income tax returns for local and foreign staff.
- Ensure proper documentation, compliance, and record-keeping.
- Perform additional tasks aligned with organizational priorities.
- Perform other duties as needed based on organizational priorities.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Banking, Accounting & Information System
- Strong knowledge of Tax and VAT regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Data analyst and PBI preferable.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Tannery/Footwear, Garments, Multinational Companies, Group of Companies

- Age 25 to 35 years
- Preference given to candidates with EPZ experience.
