Job Description / Responsibility

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with strong focus on Balance Sheet analysis and variance reporting.
Handle accounting entries related to export sales, foreign currency transactions, Letters of Credit (L/C), and export incentives.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Work extensively with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
Assist in inventory accounting, costing, and valuation for garments accessories items.
Support internal and external audits, tax filings, and compliance with relevant regulatory bodies (VAT, Income Tax, Customs, etc.).
Monitor cash flow, prepare aging reports, and provide financial insights to management.
Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Educational Requirements

Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (CA/CC level or partly qualified will be an advantage).

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (CA/CC level or partly qualified will be an advantage).
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing, garments, or export-oriented companies.
Strong proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime / ERP preferred).
Hands-on experience in Balance Sheet analysis, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
Good knowledge of export-import documentation, foreign exchange transactions, and Bangladesh Bank regulations is a strong plus.
Excellent command of MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, formulas).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
