Job Description / Responsibility

Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the overall Accounts & Finance operations of the coal import and trading business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, banking coordination, regulatory compliance, and effective financial control.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts and prepare financial statements.
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Handle banking activities including LC opening, amendments, retirement, and trade finance.
Coordinate with suppliers, banks, C&F agents, and other stakeholders regarding import-related financial matters.
Verify import documents and prepare import cost and landed cost calculations.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, Customs, and other regulatory requirements.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, MIS reports, and financial analyses for management.
Assist in internal and external audits and maintain effective internal controls.
Perform any other finance and accounts-related tasks assigned by management

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Finance

Experience Requirements

At least 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Group of Companies, Coal

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 28 years
MBA/M.Com/BBA in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
Experience in Coal Trading, Import-Export, Commodity Trading, or Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Sound knowledge of LC, Banking Operations, VAT, Tax, Customs, and Financial Reporting.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
