Job Description / Responsibility
- We are a growing garments manufacturing factory in Bangladesh, specialized in knitwear production. We are looking for an energetic and experienced Marketing Expert who can generate and secure subcontract garment orders from local factories, buying houses, sourcing agents and other potential business channels.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Actively generate and secure subcontract garment manufacturing orders from local garment factories, buying houses, exporters, sourcing agents and other potential business channels.
- Develop, maintain and expand a strong network with factory owners, merchandisers, marketing teams, buying houses and key industry decision-makers to ensure a continuous flow of business opportunities.
- Conduct regular field visits, client meetings, presentations and negotiations to acquire new subcontract orders and strengthen existing business relationships.
- Independently identify business opportunities, collect inquiries, obtain order details, negotiate commercial terms and convert prospects into confirmed production orders.
- Prepare costing, capacity planning, quotations and production proposals in coordination with the factory management and follow up until order confirmation.
- Achieve assigned monthly and yearly sales targets. Failure to achieve targets without valid justification may result in performance review.
- Maintain a detailed pipeline of prospective customers and submit weekly reports covering factory visits, client meetings, order status, market intelligence and business development activities.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, production capacities, and subcontract opportunities to maximize factory utilization and profitability.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries, quotations, sample developments and pending negotiations to secure orders.
- Coordinate closely Production, Planning and Management teams to ensure smooth execution of secured orders.
- Be available for frequent travel as required for business development activities.
- Perform any other business development, marketing or commercial responsibilities assigned by the Management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments
Additional Job Requirements

- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good network with local garments factories and buying houses
- Self-motivated, target-oriented and hardworking
- Ability to travel frequently within Bangladesh
- Strong experience in local buyer sourcing.
- Collect subcontract work orders from local garments factories, buying houses and related sources.
- Must have an independent buyer network and ability to generate garments order without company-provided leads.
- Capable of independently sourcing buyers and developing new clients.
- Ability to secure subcontract work to maximize factory production capacity.
- Capable of handling merchandising and marketing processes independently, including sourcing, price quoting, negotiation, order collection, shipment coordination and follow-up.
- Strong ability to close sales and generate revenue.
- Target-oriented and market-driven mindset.
- Key Performance Requirement:
- The primary objective of this position is to bring profitable subcontract garment orders and maintain sufficient production loading for the factory.
- Candidates must have proven industry connections and a demonstrated ability to generate business.
- Preference will be given to candidates with an existing network of factories, buying houses and sourcing organizations.
- Additional Advantage:
- Experience in sourcing orders from international buyers, brands, importers and overseas buying offices will be considered a significant advantage.
