Product Development Executive (Agri Machinery)

Job Description / Responsibility

ACI Motors is looking for a Product Development Executive for its Agri machinery business. Major responsibilities are -
Conduct market research, analyse and identify new product opportunities.
Ensure product development from concept to launch including prototyping, testing, validation etc.
Coordinate with supporting functions for procurement, production, quality assurance and customer service.
Prepare marketing/ branding/ promotional plans and execution.
Collaborate with sales/service/distribution/factory team as required.
Develop demo/manuals as required and ensure proper reporting to the stakeholders.
Ensure communication with principal for product development/promotional support.
Assist in liasion with the govt/autonomous authorities as required.
Possess extensive knowledge of agriculture, modern farming practices, and agricultural machinery.
Conduct field visits and product demonstrations to showcase the effectiveness and benefits of agricultural technologies and equipment.
Identify and develop sales opportunities for new technologies in collaboration with the sales team.
Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team to facilitate customer engagement and successfully close sales opportunities.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Masters
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering/ BBA in Marketing or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.

Experience Requirements

At least 1 year
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Group of Companies

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 24 years
Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and other digital tools.
Knowledge of product lifecycle and design.
Flexible to frequent field visit for business purpose.
