Job Description / Responsibility

Lead and manage all quality control activities for outerwear/ jacket production.
Review Tech Packs, BOM, construction details, measurement specifications, and buyer comments before production.
Ensure compliance with buyer standards, technical specifications, and AQL requirements.
Monitor PP Sample, Fit Sample, Size Set Sample, TOP Sample, and Pre-Shipment Sample approvals.
Verify jacket/outerwear construction, including collar, hood, sleeve setting, lining attachment, padding, quilting, seam sealing, taping, zipper installation, pocket construction, and finishing quality.
Ensure measurement accuracy and fit consistency throughout production.
Conduct inline, end-line, and final inspections to identify and eliminate defects.
Analyse quality issues, customer complaints, and rejection reports; implement RCA and CAPA.
Monitor critical quality parameters such as seam strength, puckering, shading, matching, needle damage, and workmanship defects.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, IE, Technical, and Product Development teams to resolve technical and quality concerns.
Lead QC teams, Final Auditors, and Quality Supervisors through training, coaching, and performance management.
Prepare quality reports and track KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
Support buyer audits, technical visits, and final inspections.
Ensure compliance with factory quality systems, customer requirements, and industry standards.

Minimum Graduation

Experience Requirements

8 to 12 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of woven jackets, padded jackets, down jackets, softshell jackets, seam-sealed garments, and performance outerwear.
Hands-on experience with major buyers` quality requirements and technical standards.
Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern interpretation, fit evaluation, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in AQL, RCA, CAPA, and quality auditing techniques.
