Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented professional for the position of General Manager – Dry Process for our Washing plant. The candidate must have strong leadership capability, technical knowledge in dry process operations, and the ability to manage production efficiently according to buyer requirements and shipment deadlines.
- Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage overall Dry Process operations in the washing plant.
- Ensure smooth execution of all dry process activities including Whisker, PP Spray, Tagging, Grinding, Destroy, Crinkle, Tint, Resin, Laser Effect, Potassium Spray, and Oven Process.
- Prepare and execute daily production planning according to shipment priorities.
- Ensure production targets, efficiency, and on-time shipment.
- Maintain buyer-approved quality standards and minimize rejection/rework.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, QA, Production, and Maintenance departments.
- Monitor chemical consumption and control operational costs.
- Ensure proper inventory management of chemicals and accessories.
- Ensure compliance, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace.
- Monitor proper use of PPE by employees.
- Ensure maximum machine utilization and Coordinate with maintenance team to minimize downtime.
- Supervise and develop production teams including DGM, AGM, Managers, Supervisors, In-Charges, and Operators.
- Analyze production data and prepare management reports regularly.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- Arrange training and skill development programs and Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
- Introduce lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
- Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Work on continuous quality and cost improvement initiatives.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Engineering, Industrial Eng & Production
- Bachelor in Relevant Discipline or equivalent practical experience in the garments washing operations.
Experience Requirements
- 12 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Washing Factory, Woven Manufacturing
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 40 years
- Only Male
- At least 5 years of experience in senior management position as Head of Department or equivalent role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Dry Process operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent production planning and problem-solving ability.
- Buyer handling and communication skills
- Knowledge of compliance and safety standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet shipment deadlines.
