Job Description / Responsibility
- Independently handle buyer accounts and maintain effective communication with overseas customers.
- Receive inquiries, analyze tech packs, prepare quotations, and negotiate prices with buyers.
- Manage order execution from development stage to final shipment.
- Coordinate product development and ensure timely submission of Proto, Fit, Size Set, Pre-Production (PP), and TOP samples.
- Follow up on sample approvals and communicate buyer comments to relevant departments.
- Prepare garment costing, consumption calculations, and order profitability analysis.
- Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials from local and foreign suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials as per production schedules.
- Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) plans for all running orders.
- Monitor production status and coordinate with planning, production, quality, and commercial teams.
- Ensure buyer requirements, quality standards, and compliance guidelines are properly followed.
- Identify potential risks in production and take corrective actions to avoid shipment delays.
- Follow up on fabric testing, trims approval, lab dips, bulk approvals, and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality meets buyer specifications.
- Monitor shipment schedules and work closely with commercial and logistics departments for timely delivery.
- Prepare order status reports, shipment updates, and merchandising reports for management.
- Resolve buyer complaints and production-related issues professionally and efficiently.
- Support junior merchandisers and assist in team development activities.
- Maintain all merchandising documentation and records accurately
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience in Merchandising.BS.c in Textile Engineering / Apparel Merchandising will get an extra advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Woven Manufacturing

- Age At least 25 years
- Handling Woven factory buyers.
- Strong communication skills with international buyers
- Ability to handle multiple orders under pressure
- Good knowledge of garments Order
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Email communication)
- Must be proactive, responsible, and deadline-oriented
- Depth knowledge and practical experience on product costing, Raw material sourcing & connection with supplier base.
- Able to maintain Time & Action (T&A) plan for both with customer and with Vendor.
- Must have sound knowledge about product consumption, costing & pricing process/procedure.
- Must have good command over fluent English speaking and writing, MS Office, ERP. PPT, graphics, etc.
- Candidates must be proactive and creative in order to formulate/implement efficient & effective business techniques.
- Strong knowledge of garment merchandising processes and production flow.
- Sound knowledge of fabric sourcing, trims, costing, and consumption calculation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
