Job Description / Responsibility
- Environmental Performance
- Regularly monitor and assess environmental performance metrics related to resource consumption, emissions, and waste management.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement and opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Audit and Corrective Action Plans (CAP)
- Plan and conduct audits to assess compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies.
- Develop and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to address findings from audits and inspections.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in environmental compliance and sustainability performance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate compliance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, customers, and local communities, to foster transparency and collaboration on compliance and sustainability issues.
- Represent the organization in industry forums and initiatives related to environmental compliance and sustainability.
- Employee Training and Engagement
- Develop and conduct training programs on environmental compliance and sustainability practices for employees.
- Promote awareness and encourage active participation in sustainability initiatives across all levels of the organization.
- Implement Sustainable Practices
- Lead the implementation of sustainable practices throughout the organization`s operations, including sourcing, manufacturing processes, packaging, and distribution.
- Recommend and oversee the adoption of eco-friendly technologies and practices to reduce environmental impact.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits applicable to the organization`s activities.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and timely.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Multinational Companies, Textile
