Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, traders, dealers, and corporate customers to ensure maximum cold storage occupancy.
- Identify new business opportunities and achieve storage booking and revenue targets.
- Prepare and process booking agreements, invoices, delivery orders, and other commercial documents.
- Coordinate with Operations, Store, and Accounts departments to ensure smooth product receiving, storage, and delivery.
- Monitor storage capacity utilization and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reports.
- Ensure timely billing, collection of storage charges, and follow-up of outstanding receivables.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, storage transactions, and commercial activities.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service-related issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular market visits to develop new clients and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Analyze market trends, commodity prices, and competitor activities and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist management in sales planning, business development, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform any other commercial and business development responsibilities assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based Startup, Inventory/Warehouse, Logistics Startup, Supply Chain
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong marketing and customer handling ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Experience in Cold Storage, Agriculture, or Argo Supply Chain/Argo-based Company.
- Knowledge of commercial documentation and customer billing.
- Local market networking capability.
