Job Description / Responsibility
- Conduct regular and surprise audits of restaurant, café, warehouse, and corporate operations.
- Review daily sales, POS transactions, cash collections, discounts, refunds, voids, and complimentary sales to identify revenue leakage and irregularities.
- Audit cash handling procedures, petty cash management, and bank deposit processes.
- Perform periodic inventory audits of food, beverages, consumables, and operational materials.
- Verify stock receipts, issues, transfers, and inventory reconciliation reports.
- Review procurement activities, vendor bills, purchase orders, and approval processes to ensure policy compliance.
- Evaluate internal control systems and recommend process improvements to mitigate risks.
- Review expenses, payments, and supporting documents to ensure proper authorization and accuracy.
- Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, theft, wastage, or misuse of company assets.
- Prepare audit reports with findings, observations, recommendations, and action plans.
- Follow up on audit observations and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
- Assess compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements, and hospitality industry standards.
- Analyze business processes and operational data to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
- Perform any special audits, investigations, or assignments assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CA (CC), or partly qualified candidates will be given preference.

- Strong knowledge of internal audit procedures, internal controls, and risk management practices.

- Ability to analyze data and identify operational and financial irregularities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP/POS systems.
- Strong report-writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel frequently and conduct surprise audits at business locations.
