Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive – Compliance to ensure compliance with local labor laws, buyer requirements, social compliance standards, health & safety regulations, and company policies within our garments manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will support audits, monitor compliance activities, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and buyer Codes of Conduct.
- Maintain compliance-related records, policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Prepare and coordinate internal, external, and buyer compliance audits.
- Conduct regular factory inspections to identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow up on Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Support implementation and maintenance of social compliance standards such as BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, RSC, C-TPAT, and other buyer requirements.
- Coordinate worker interviews, training programs, and awareness sessions on compliance, ethics, workplace safety, and labor rights.
- Monitor working hours, wages, benefits, leave records, and employee welfare programs.
- Assist in maintaining health, safety, environmental, and security compliance requirements.
- Prepare compliance reports and presentations for management and buyers.
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and buyer representatives when required.
- Support sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
- Additional certification in Compliance, Social Auditing, Occupational Health & Safety, or Labor Law will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law, Social Science, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Garments Accessories, Washing Factory
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 25 to 37 years
- Experience Requirements
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in compliance within a garments/textile manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with buyer audits and compliance standards.
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law and international compliance requirements.
- Skills & Competencies
- Excellent knowledge of social compliance and labor regulations.
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English and Bengali, both written and spoken.
