Job Description / Responsibility

Job Summary
The General Manager (GM) – Feed Mill Operations is responsible for the overall management of feed mill operations, ensuring efficient production, product quality, cost control. The incumbent will lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.
Reports To: Managing Director / Director / Executive Director
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the production of poultry, fish, cattle, and dairy feed.
Develop and implement annual, monthly, and daily production plans.
Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity and resources.
Achieve production targets while minimizing wastage and downtime.
Ensure on-time delivery of finished products.
Monitor raw materials, work-in-process, and finished product quality.
Coordinate with Nutrition and QA teams regarding feed formulation and quality requirements.
Ensure customer quality expectations are consistently met.
Monitor inventory levels and warehouse operations.
Maintain accountability of raw materials, spare parts, and finished goods.
Coordinate logistics and distribution activities.
Monitor manufacturing costs and operational expenses.
Drive cost reduction initiatives and productivity improvements.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Animal Science, or Post Graduate in any discipline.

Experience Requirements

At least 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Additional Job Requirements

Minimum 15 years of experience in Feed Mill Operations.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role (AGM/DGM/GM level).
Strong experience in poultry, fish, and cattle feed manufacturing.
