Job Description / Responsibility
- Conduct market research on cold storage, agricultural products, frozen foods, and cold chain logistics.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer demands, and pricing structures.
- Identify new business opportunities, products, and services related to cold storage operations.
- Develop and recommend strategies to increase storage occupancy and profitability.
- Research and evaluate new cold storage technologies, energy-efficient systems, and automation solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new projects and investments.
- Monitor and analyze cold storage utilization, operational efficiency, and performance indicators.
- Prepare business plans, project proposals, and development reports for management.
- Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, Marketing, and Accounts departments to improve business processes.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational guidelines.
- Research government policies, regulations, subsidies, and incentives related to agriculture and cold storage industries.
- Identify opportunities for expanding services such as frozen food storage, logistics support, and supply chain solutions.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain databases, research records, project documentation, and management reports.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for management meetings.
- Support strategic planning and long-term business development initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for business operations.
- Monitor industry innovations and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Master of Professional Finance (MPF)
- University of Dhaka,University of Chittagong,BRAC University,IBA, Dhaka University,North South University students will get preference
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based Startup, Inventory/Warehouse, Logistics Startup, Supply Chain
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
