Job Description / Responsibility
- Commercial Operations & Trade Finance
- LC Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs).
- Documentation: Ensure all shipping, customs, and commercial invoices are flawlessly prepared to avoid demurrage (delay charges) or supply chain bottlenecks.
- Cost Optimization: Negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and insurance providers.
- Banking & Financial Coordination
- Fund Management: Liaise with corporate banks to manage working capital facilities, overdrafts, and term loans.
- Treasury Operations: Handle foreign exchange (FX) booking and hedging strategies to shield the company from currency fluctuations.
- Reconciliation: Collaborate closely with the internal finance team to ensure all trade-related transactions, bank charges, and interest calculations are reconciled perfectly.
- Regulatory Compliance & Government Relations
- Central Bank Compliance: Ensure all foreign trade transactions strictly comply with central bank guidelines, foreign exchange regulations, and anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.
- Liaison Management: Act as the primary corporate representative to resolve issues with Customs, VAT/Tax authorities, Ministry departments, and central banks.
- Policy Monitoring: Monitor changing national trade policies, tariff schedules, and financial laws, reporting immediately on how they impact the company's bottom line.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance & Banking, Accounting
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Engineering Firms, Financial Consultants, Group of Companies
