Job Description / Responsibility

Context:
A Reputed INK manufacturer is looking for Assistant/ deputy Manager - Store & Warehouse
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Assistant Manager/deputy Manager to oversee Store and Warehouse operations. The ideal candidate must possess strong experience in managing inventory, materials movement, and warehouse operations. The role requires ensuring accurate stock control, proper documentation, and effective coordination with production and related departments.
Job Location: Narayanganj (MIEZ)
Job Responsibility:
Receive all incoming goods and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery challans.
He have must knowledge / Experience in Chemical factory & store section.
Ensure proper storage and preservation of chemicals, auxiliaries, spare parts, and consumable items.
Issue materials to production departments according to approved requisitions.
Maintain accurate stock records in the SAP inventory system.
Monitor stock levels and prepare reorder requests to avoid shortages.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Coordinate with production, accounts, and quality departments regarding material requirements and deliveries.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements for chemical storage.
Manage delivery and dispatch of goods/materials as per company procedures.
Maintain proper documentation of GRN, challans, gate passes, and stock movement records.
Ensure good housekeeping and organization within the store area.
Supervise store assistants, Warehouse officer and helpers to ensure efficient operations.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors
Bachelors degree in any discipline.
Additional professional certifications in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements

6 to 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Design/Printing/Publishing, Chemical Industries

Additional Job Requirements

At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Must have hands-on experience in a factory/store environment.
Strong knowledge in in supply chain
Experience in SAP (must) inventory management systems is must.
