Job Description / Responsibility
  • Land Acquisition & Legal Compliance
  • Ensure all land acquisition, purchase, lease, transfer, and deed execution processes are legally compliant.
  • Conduct legal verification and due diligence prior to land acquisition.
  • Review and validate chain of ownership records, title documents, and other records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable land, property, tenancy, and registration laws of Bangladesh.
  • Knowledge about trial documentation.
  • Land Registration, Mutation & Documentation
  • Oversee land registration, mutation, namjari, tax payment, and record correction processes.
  • Ensure proper preservation and digitization of land documentation.
  • Government Liaison & Regulatory Affairs
  • Maintain effective relationships with government agencies including Land Offices, Registry Offices, Survey Departments, RAJUK, City Corporations, Municipal Authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitate approvals, certifications, and regulatory clearances related to land assets.
  • Land Survey & Due Diligence
  • Verify and analyze land records including Khatian, Porcha, Dakhila, Baina Deed, CS, SA, RS, BS Records, City Survey Records, Power of Attorney, Lease Agreements, and related documents.
  • Ensure authenticity and continuity of chain ownership records.
  • Litigation & Dispute Management
  • Handle land-related legal disputes, litigation, claims and Boundary conflicts.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel regarding civil, criminal, tribunal, and miscellaneous cases.
  • Identify legal and operational risks related to land assets and recommend corrective actions.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
  • Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) or relevant discipline will be considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Law Firm, Textile

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age At least 32 years
  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Land Laws, Property Laws, Registration Act, Transfer of Property Act, and Tenancy Laws.
  • Expertise in land registration, mutation, survey, and title verification.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent government liaison and networking abilities.
  • Proven experience in land acquisition, registration, mutation, documentation, and dispute management.
  • Experience in large manufacturing, real estate, industrial, or corporate organizations will be preferred.
  • 3 Years+ Proven experience to work on Law firms.
