Job Description / Responsibility

Plan, organize, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets in line with buyer delivery schedules and approved sample/specifications.
Expert in Leather gloves layout plan & target production.
Oversee the full production cycle — cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing — ensuring smooth workflow and minimum downtime.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Cutting, and Quality departments to ensure on-time order execution and shipment.
Monitor line efficiency, productivity (SMV/SAM analysis), and take corrective action to reduce wastage and rejection rates.
Conduct daily production review meetings with line chiefs, supervisors, and floor in-charges to address bottlenecks.
Manage manpower planning, balancing, and allocation across sewing lines based on order requirements and skill matrix.
Ensure proper maintenance and timely repair of machines in coordination with the Maintenance department to avoid production loss.
Monitor and control Leather/fabric/trims/accessories consumption and coordinate with the Store and Cutting sections to avoid shortages.
Prepare and analyze daily production reports (DPR), efficiency reports, and present to senior management/factory head.
Coordinate with HR & Admin for recruitment, training, discipline, and welfare of production staff and workers.
Ensure proper documentation, records, and reporting for internal audits and buyer inspections.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve on-time shipment performance.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Leather Engineering, Industrial Eng & Production
Bachelor/Honors
Masters
Bachelor`s Degree in Engineering
Textile Engineering
Industrial Engineering

Experience Requirements

10 to 20 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Garments Accessories, Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Tannery/Footwear, Textile
