Job Description / Responsibility
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of Bags & Luggage manufacturing processes, including Ladies Bags, Backpacks, Travel Bags, Luggage, and related products.
- Lead and manage end-to-end factory operations, including MCD (Material Control Department), Cutting, Sewing, Finishing, Packing, and Shipment activities.
- Possess knowledge on bags and luggage laboratory testing requirements, quality standards, approved samples, and production requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Implement and monitor 3P, line balancing, capacity planning, and workflow optimization to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Build, lead, motivate, and develop production teams, ensuring strong coordination among managers, supervisors, line leaders, and operational staff.
- Ensure effective production planning and execution to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining on-time delivery commitments.
- Monitor production performance, analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve output.
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising, SCM, MCD, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and other cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Control manufacturing costs by improving productivity, reducing waste, optimizing manpower utilization, and ensuring efficient material consumption.
- Drive workplace excellence through implementation of 5S, continuous improvement initiatives, safety standards, labor law compliance, and company policies.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, Leather Engineering
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Master of Arts (MA)
Experience Requirements
- 12 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories
