Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context: AKH Knitting Dyeing Ltd is a knit composite factory and it’s a sister concern of AKH Group. We want to hire an AGM – Knitting Operation who is responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing all knitting production activities to achieve production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery in a textile manufacturing facility.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute knitting production plans according to order requirements.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Ensure optimum machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with merchandising, dyeing, maintenance, and quality departments to meet delivery schedules.
- Supervise all circular and/or flat knitting operations.
- Ensure proper machine settings and process parameters.
- Monitor fabric quality during production.
- Minimize machine downtime and production losses.
- Ensure fabrics meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Analyze quality defects and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) team to reduce rejection rates.
- Maintain compliance with buyer and company quality requirements.
- Lead and manage production managers, shift in-charges, supervisors, and operators.
- Conduct performance evaluations and employee development programs.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and shift management.
- Promote a productive and safe working environment.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure machines remain in optimal operating condition.
- Support implementation of new technologies and machinery upgrades.
- Monitor yarn consumption and fabric wastage.
- Implement productivity improvement initiatives.
- Control operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze production data and prepare efficiency improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with factory policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
- Maintain workplace health and safety standards.
- Support sustainability and environmental compliance initiatives.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering or related field.
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 15 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Textile, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Only Male
- The candidate requires expertise in production planning, circular knitting machine management, yarn sourcing, and quality control.
- He should strong leadership to optimize man, machine, and material utilization while strictly adhering to compliance and zero-defect shipment guidelines.
- 10–15+ years of experience in knitting operations, preferably in a large knit textile factory.
- Strong knowledge of knitting machines, yarn behavior, fabric structures, and production management.
- Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
