Job Description / Responsibility

Here is a breakdown of the core responsibilities The General Manager (GM) of Sales and Marketing at a carton manufacturing factory:
Set and achieve annual sales and collection targets.
Identify and target high-volume sectors requiring packaging solutions, such as e-commerce, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), pharmaceuticals, and electronics.
Personally oversee relationships with top-tier corporate clients and negotiate long-term supply contracts.
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of B2B sales executives and technical sales representatives.
Establish and monitor team KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), focusing on metrics like client acquisition cost, average order value, conversion rates, and account retention.
Paper and pulp prices fluctuate constantly. A successful GM in this space must balance aggressive sales volumes with adaptive pricing models to ensure a sudden rise in raw material costs doesn't wipe out the factory's profit margins on long-term contracts.
To develop new markets and corporate clients and maintain long-term business relationships with existing clients.
Taking effective initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, product quality and the brand image of the organization.
Authorities should provide regular updates on sales and collection.

Educational Requirements

Master of Commerce (MCom) in Marketing

Experience Requirements

At least 15 years
