Job Description / Responsibility
- A leading export-oriented garment manufacturing company (SBU of a renowned Group of Companies) is seeking a highly competent, experienced, and result-oriented professional for the position of AGM/DGM – Finance & Accounts.
- Key Responsibilities
- Finalizing Budgetary assumptions from Top Management and the Board of Directors.
- Distributing and Collecting Deliverables templates to business units for input data.
- Use input data to prepare a Budget and Business Plan.
- Prepare Periodic Financial Variance reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Prepare MIS Report for Top Management and Board of Directors Review.
- Prepare Monthly Cash Flow Forecast.
- Maintain an effective relationship with the Banks and Financial Institutions and arrange funding for the Group as and when required.
- Manage and supervise the activities of the Commercial Team of the Group.
- Ensure appropriate control of the Supply Chain activities of the Group.
- Ensure compliance of Financial, procurement, and other policies and procedures across the Group.
- Supervise and manage the Tax & VAT-related activities of the Group
- Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting, budgeting, treasury, and commercial team of the Group.
- Ensure accurate project analysis for ongoing and new projects of the group.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
- Qualified/Partly Qualified Chartered Accountancy/ Qualified Management Accountant
- Professional Certification: ACA, ACCA
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in the garment/textile manufacturing sector.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law, Income Tax, VAT, Company Law, and financial regulations.
- Experience in dealing with banks, audits, compliance, and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
