Job Description / Responsibility
- Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced professional for the position of Manager / Deputy Manager – Finance. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and ensuring effective financial management of the organization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor overall accounts and finance operations of the company.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, audit, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
- Supervise accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and banking activities.
- Maintain proper internal control and financial documentation systems.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and financial records.
- Support management in strategic planning and business decision-making.
- Lead and supervise the finance and accounts team effectively.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Educational Requirements
- MBA/M.Com/BBA/B.Com in Finance/Accounting from a reputed university.
- CA (CC)/ACCA partly qualified candidates will get preference.
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Job Requirements
- Candidates having experience in corporate organizations/group of companies will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, Tax, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Good analytical and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
