Job Description / Responsibility

Execute daily cutting plans as per production requirements and shipment priorities.
Ensure accurate fabric spreading, marker alignment, and cutting operations according to approved specifications.
Monitor fabric consumption and control cutting wastage to achieve optimum efficiency.
Verify fabric shade, shrinkage, GSM, and quality before cutting.
Coordinate with Merchandising, IE, Planning, Fabric Store, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure correct bundle numbering, ticketing, and handover to the sewing section.
Monitor cutting productivity and prepare daily production reports (MIS).
Ensure marker efficiency and fabric utilization meet company targets.
Supervise manpower allocation and maintain balanced workflow within the cutting section.
Follow approved technical sheets, cutting patterns, and buyer requirements.
Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance with the Maintenance team.
Identify and resolve cutting-related quality issues to minimize rejection and rework.
Ensure compliance with 5S, safety standards, SOPs, and company policies.
Maintain proper documentation and records related to cutting operations.
Perform any other duties assigned by management as required

Educational Requirements

Graduation in any discipline

Experience Requirements

At least 4 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Job Requirements

Age At least 38 years
Sound knowledge of fabric behavior, marker planning, spreading, cutting, and fabric consumption.
Good understanding of cutting machines and production processes.
Strong interpersonal skills and abilities
