Job Description / Responsibility

We are a 100% Export-Oriented Shirt Manufacturing Garments Factory is looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager - Cutting for Cutting Department in a Woven Garments Factory.
Developing cutting strategies and procedures to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
Plan and manage the daily cutting schedule, ensuring on-time delivery of cut fabrics to the production lines.
Collaboration with the production planning team to determine the fabric requirements and prioritize cutting orders based on production deadlines.
Allocate resources, including manpower and cutting equipment, to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
Supervise and guide the cutting team, providing direction, training, and support to ensure consistent performance and skill development.
Maintain and monitor cutting equipment and tools, arranging regular maintenance and repairs as needed.
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement in the cutting process.
Continuously evaluate and optimize cutting techniques and technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor and analyze production data, generating reports on cutting productivity, material utilization, and efficiency for management review.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to cutting processes.
Report to the head of operations when required.
Any other tasks as assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors

Experience Requirements

At least 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

Additional Job Requirements

Communication skills in both English and Bengali in verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be able to cope with pressure, flexible, and adaptable.
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and proactive.
Well conversant with IT equipment.
