Job Description / Responsibility

1. INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING LEADERSHIP
Lead and manage the complete IE department.
Develop IE strategies aligned with business objectives.
Build a high-performing IE team through coaching and training.
Establish KPIs for all IE personnel.
2. CAPACITY PLANNING
Prepare factory capacity plans.
Analyze production loading based on available resources.
Ensure optimal machine and manpower utilization.
Support merchandising and planning teams during order booking.
3. PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT
Increase sewing line efficiency.
Improve operator productivity.
Reduce non-value-added activities.
Monitor hourly production performance.
Drive continuous productivity improvement initiatives.
4. SMV & METHOD STUDY
Approve Standard Minute Values (SMV).
Conduct time and motion studies.
Develop best operating methods.
Standardize work procedures.
Ensure accurate operation breakdowns.
5. LINE BALANCING
Develop balanced production layouts.
Optimize workstation allocation.
Reduce bottlenecks.
Improve workflow efficiency.
Monitor balance efficiency regularly.
6. COST REDUCTION
Identify manufacturing cost-saving opportunities.
Reduce labor costs through productivity improvement.
Minimize overtime requirements.
Improve machine utilization.
Eliminate process waste.
7. LAYOUT & PROCESS OPTIMIZATION
Design efficient production layouts.
Improve factory workflow.
Optimize material movement.
Reduce handling time.
Improve workplace ergonomics.
8. PRODUCTION MONITORING
Monitor hourly, daily, and monthly production.
Analyze efficiency reports.
Identify production losses.
Develop improvement action plans.
Support production teams in achieving targets.
9. LEAN MANUFACTURING
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles.
Lead Kaizen projects.
Apply 5S standards.
Reduce waste using Lean tools.
Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
10. ΚΡΙ MANAGEMENT
Monitor and improve:
Line Efficiency
Labor Productivity
Machine Utilization
Capacity Utilization
On-Time Delivery (OTD)
Overtime Percentage
WIP Levels
Cost per Garment
DHU (Defects per Hundred Units)
SAH Achievement
11. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION
Coordinate effectively with:
Production Planning (PPC)
HR & Administration
Merchandising
Cutting
Quality Assurance
Sewing
Maintenance
Finishing
Washing (if applicable)
12. DIGITAL IE SYSTEMS
Implement IE software and digital dashboards.
Develop real-time productivity reports.
Monitor factory KPIs through data analytics.
Ensure accurate reporting and decision support.
13. COMPLIANCE & SAFETY
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements.
Support social compliance standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, SA8000, etc.).
Maintain safe working practices.
Ensure ergonomic workstation design.
14. REPORTING
Prepare and present:
Daily production reports
Capacity reports
-Efficiency reports
Productivity analysis
Cost analysis
Factory performance dashboards
Monthly management review reports

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
B.Sc in Textile Engineering /Industrial Engineering / Minimum Graduate.

Experience Requirements

12 to 15 years
