Executive (Internal Audit-Entry level)

Job Description / Responsibility

Conduct internal audits as per approved audit plan and organizational policies.
Review and evaluate internal control systems, operational processes, and compliance mechanisms.
Perform process audits to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Carry out construction audits including BOQ verification, RA bill checking, variation analysis, and cost monitoring.
Conduct procurement audits covering vendor selection, tendering process, pricing, approvals, and compliance.
Perform inventory audits across all concerns, including physical verification, valuation review, and reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and IAS, with deep knowledge of financial reporting formats and disclosure requirements.
Review financial statements and management reports to ensure accuracy and standard compliance.
Analyze budgets, track utilization, identify variances, and report deviations with clear explanations.
Prepare professional, clear, and actionable audit reports focused on results and corrective actions.
Follow up audit observations and ensure timely closure without delay or excuses.
Maintain a strong results-oriented mindset with accountability for assigned audit outcomes.
Comply with all work assignments and directives provided by the Head of Department (HOD).
Proactively support management in strengthening controls, governance, and risk management practices.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
CA. ACCA

Experience Requirements

1 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Fisheries, Hatchery, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Hospital, NGO, Research Organization
