Sr. Engineer - Production
A Reputed Pharma Plastic Packaging Goods Manufacturer Company
Job Description / Responsibility
- Supervise daily production operations of Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Injection Blow Molding (IBM) (PET+PP), ISBM sections.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while meeting quality, safety, and delivery requirements.
- Optimize machine utilization, cycle time, process parameters, and OEE to maximize productivity.
- Minimize production losses, rejects, rework, material wastage, and downtime.
- Coordinate machine setup, mold changes, line clearance, and production planning for smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot production and process-related issues to ensure continuous manufacturing.
- Monitor raw material consumption and ensure compliance with approved process standards.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Warehouse departments to achieve production objectives.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Diploma in Engineering
- B.Sc. in ME/EEE or a related Engineering discipline from any Private/Public University.
- Diploma in engineering.
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 28 to 38 years
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in a plastic manufacturing industry, with at least 1 years in a Production Engineer/Senior Production Engineer role.
- Hands-on experience in Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Injection Blow Molding (IBM)(PET+PP), ISBM operations.
- Strong knowledge of plastic processing, machine parameter optimization, cycle time reduction, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in production planning, line balancing, mold changeover, line clearance, and production scheduling..
- Experience in reducing rejection, rework, material wastage, and production losses through process improvement.
- Good understanding of quality systems, GMP, SOPs, and process validation.
- Ability to lead production teams, manage manpower, and work effectively under production targets.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets.
- Ability to handle resistance to change during manpower handling
