Job Description / Responsibility
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead and supervise all operational functions across development projects.
- Ensure timely planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects.
- Monitor project performance, quality standards, timelines, and cost control.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, HR, administration, and other departments to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, labor laws, environmental standards, and organizational policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, donors, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and project teams.
- Establish KPIs and regularly evaluate operational performance.
- Prepare operational reports and present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and top management.
- Drive continuous process improvement, innovation, and organizational efficiency.
- Ensure effective contract management and vendor performance monitoring.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- from public university or reputed private university.
- Retired army officers not less than Major having similar experience are also eligible for apply.
Experience Requirements
- 15 to 20 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Building & Construction Materials, Development Agency, Real Estate
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 40 to 55 years
- Only Male
- Minimum 10 years experience in similar roles
- Expertise in government tender works under the EGP system will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Government Procurement Law.
- In‑depth understanding of: Rajuk FAR & DAP regulations, Real estate and property development laws, Land and flat registration laws, Tax and VAT issues, Demonstrated record of cost‑effective and timely implementation of building development projects (specially under joint venture arrangements)
- Strong leadership, organizational management and decision‑making competencies.
- Proven ability to navigate Rajuk plan approval processes, FAR, DAP, and Public Procurement Regulations.
- Strategic planning and execution in real estate development.
- Expertise in project finance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to lead large teams and manage complex operations.
- Track record of delivering projects within budget and timeline constraints.
- Have the capacity to work under pressure.
