Job Description / Responsibility
- Department: Production Department
- Job Location: Factory
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure cGMP in the WFI plant, ampoule filling area, and aseptic dispensing.
- Maintain effective communication with the relevant department or assigned person to ensure any shortfall material(s) is made available within the stipulated time to achieve the production target for the month.
- Arrange and distribute the ‘Controlled document’ process sheet to the next-level officer for preparing sterile dosage forms as planned based on sales forecast priority.
- Ensure that relevant departmental/sectional personnel follow processing steps and SOPs, recording them contemporaneously with signature, date and time.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are in good condition and decrease downtime through proper servicing and preventive maintenance with the engineering department`s help, to minimize unforeseen operational situations.
- To build ‘Quality Product’, maintain floor discipline and supervise overall operation of sterile production.
- Ensure optimum utilization of all production resources to improve productivity continuously.
- Ensure the operation runs smoothly without interruption and as per procedure.
- Maintain horizontal communication, relations, and a congenial environment within and with work-related departments to prevent unforeseen interactions that could damage the workflow or occur at any level.
- Perform internal audit and self-inspection for gap analysis and continuous improvement.
- Actively prepare, execute, and review process validation and equipment qualification activities.
- Prepare the monthly production report and submit it to the production manager.
- Handle quality documents such as deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control, and ensure proper implementation of the action plan.
- Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness in the sterile manufacturing and packaging area as per cleaning and sanitization SOPs.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the departmental head.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Medical Equipment, Herbal Medicine, Healthcare/Lifestyle product
Additional Job Requirements
- Must have experience working in a Sterile Unit.
