Senior Officer - IE (Pre-Production for Woven Garments)

Job Description / Responsibility

Perform pre-production activities, including pre-setting, pre-planning, and line preparation before bulk production for Blazer, Ladies` Tops, and Trousers.
Finalize the Operation Bulletin (OB) in coordination with the Central IE team during the size set stage.
Conduct SMV analysis through GSD or time study methods and ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of Operation Bulletins (OB).
Develop efficient line layouts and allocate manpower based on production targets, pitch time, and machine availability.
Identify and eliminate non-value-added (NVA) activities through method improvement and process optimization.
Develop and implement improved sewing methods during the size set stage to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Ensure smooth style changeovers with minimum production disruption through proper planning and coordination.
Collaborate with Production, Technical, QA, Planning, and Maintenance teams to resolve production-related issues effectively.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the IE Manager, Head of IE, or Management as required.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial & Production Engineering

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments

Additional Job Requirements

Age 25 to 32 years
Candidates must have hands-on Industrial Engineering (IE) experience in Blazers, Formal Dress Pants, Overcoats, Blouses, and other tailored woven garments. Experience in pre-production, SMV analysis, line balancing, and method improvement for these product categories is essential.
