Job Description / Responsibility
- Position Purpose
- The incumbent will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all engineering activities of the Corporate Office and Factory, including electro-mechanical systems, civil construction, infrastructure development, utilities, renovation projects, facility maintenance, and engineering compliance. The role will ensure that all engineering projects are executed efficiently, safely, within budget, and according to approved specifications.
- Key Responsibilities
- Engineering Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise engineering projects for both the Corporate Office and Factory.
- Prepare project plans, BOQ, technical specifications, cost estimates, and work schedules.
- Monitor project progress, quality, timelines, and budget.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Verify contractor bills and certify work completion.
- Electro-Mechanical Systems
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Monitor HVAC, Generator, Substation, Lift, Fire Protection, Air Compressor, Pump, Boiler, Water Treatment Plant, and Utility Systems.
- Ensure optimum operational efficiency of engineering assets.
- Facility Management
- Supervise preventive maintenance of Corporate Office facilities.
- Monitor office utilities.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety systems.
- Coordinate emergency maintenance activities.
- Factory Engineering Coordination
- Although based at the Corporate Office, the incumbent will regularly visit factory locations to:
- Monitor engineering performance.
- Review ongoing engineering projects.
- Evaluate contractor performance.
- Inspect machinery installation.
- Support factory engineering teams.
- Coordinate infrastructure development projects.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with BNBC, BSTI, Fire Service, Electrical Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Conduct engineering risk assessments.
- Ensure workplace safety during project execution.
- Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare work engineering budgets.
- Control CAPEX and OPEX.
- Evaluate engineering quotations.
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Verify contractor payment bills.
- Documentation

- Tender documents
- Project reports
- Completion reports
- Asset records
- Maintenance history
- Engineering SOPs
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
- PMP certification will be considered an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Textile
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 40 to 45 years
- Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in a reputed Corporate Engineering, Facility Management, Industrial Engineering, Construction Projects, or Manufacturing Company.
- Experience in the textile/RMG industry will be preferred.
- Experience in corporate office facility management and factory engineering coordination is highly desirable.
