Job Description / Responsibility

Manage the procurement of Mechanical and Civil materials, spare parts, equipment, and services for all textile manufacturing units.
Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs), prepare Purchase Orders (POs), and ensure timely procurement through SAP.
Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Coordinate with factory, engineering, and user departments to ensure the timely availability of materials.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service, and take corrective actions where necessary.
Handle the procurement and import of capital machinery, Mechanical & Civil equipment, and related spare parts.
Ensure proper procurement documentation and maintain accurate procurement records in SAP.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Analyze procurement costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
Prepare procurement reports and support cost-saving initiatives.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management
PGD in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Experience Requirements

At least 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies, Textile
