Job Description / Responsibility

Job Purpose:
To coordinate export operations of jute products by ensuring timely shipment, accurate export documentation, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with buyers, banks, shipping lines, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process export documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, EXP Form, Bill of Lading (B/L), Certificate of Origin (CO), and other shipping documents.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, L/C terms, Bangladesh Customs, Bangladesh Bank, and other applicable export regulations.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Warehouse, and Commercial departments to ensure timely shipment of export orders.
Liaise with buyers, banks, freight forwarders, shipping lines, C&F agents, and transport providers to facilitate smooth export operations.
Monitor shipment schedules, container bookings, vessel movements, and export documentation until successful dispatch.
Prepare export documents for bank negotiation and follow up on export proceeds and L/C discrepancies.
Maintain proper records of export orders, shipping documents, bank submissions, and buyer correspondence.
Prepare export-related reports and provide regular updates to management.
Support export audits, resolve shipment-related issues, and perform other duties assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

Minimum Hon’s in any discipline

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Jute Goods/ Jute Yarn

Additional Job Requirements

Age At most 35 years
Highly preferred experience in Export/Commercial operations in a Jute Mill.
Additional certification in Export-Import Management will be an advantage.
