Job Description / Responsibility

We are hiring a senior Finance/Accounting professional for a Textile and Garment manufacturing company in Bangladesh, especially one who will oversee VAT, tax, compliance and finance operations, these are the qualifications we are looking for.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
Alternatively, ACCA/CMA plus 10+ years of relevant textile experience.
CA (Chartered Accountant) from ICAB (preferred), or partly qualified CA with extensive industry experience.

Experience Requirements

8 to 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dyeing Factory, Garments, Textile

Additional Job Requirements

Age 25 to 50 years
Only Male
8–15+ years in the Textile, Knitting, Dyeing and Garments sector.
Experience handling:
Export-oriented manufacturing
Bonded warehouse operations
BGMEA/BKMEA compliance
Customs and NBR regulations
Commercial documentation (LCs, exports, imports)
Factory costing and production accounting
They should have a strong understanding of:
Bangladesh VAT & Supplementary Duty Act 2012
Corporate income tax
Tax deducted at source (TDS)
Advance income tax (AIT)
VAT returns (Mushak forms)
Annual tax filings
NBR audits
VAT and tax planning
Dealing directly with NBR officials and external auditors
