Senior Manager, Accounts & Finance

Job Description / Responsibility
- Lead and manage the overall Finance & Accounts function of the organization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee the book keeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
- Ensure all process are simplified and provide recommendations through root cause analysis aligning with key stakeholders for process/ control gaps identified.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and credit control.
- Involved in payment procedures, endorse the payment documents after preaudit, but before cheque sign or bank transfer (BFTN, RTGS, etc.).
- Ensure proper record of retail stores inventory and fixed assets.
- Analyze product pricing, margin analysis and cost auditing.
- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, business plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Lead tax planning, return filing, withholding tax, VAT compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Implement internal controls, risk management, and compliance checks across accounts.
- Prepare and review various reports if needed.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System
- Professional qualification: CA (CC) Part Qualified/Qualified).
Experience Requirements
- 10 to 18 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Telecommunication, Garments, Textile, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories, Tiles/Ceramic, Spinning, Retail Store
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
- CA (CC) / CA (Part or Full Qualified) from ICAB preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS, Bangladesh Income Tax, VAT, and corporate compliance.
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience including 4-5 years of experience in senior managerial position.
- Experience in leading the Accounts & Finance of Trading business, Retail business, FMCG or Group of Company.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong presentation and reporting ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with high accuracy and integrity.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
