Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented Project Manager to lead and manage building construction projects across Bangladesh. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, quality control, cost management, and timely completion of projects while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor building construction projects from inception to completion.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Supervise site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and project staff.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within the approved budget.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, suppliers, and government authorities.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, estimates, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations at project sites.
- Manage procurement planning, material utilization, and equipment deployment.
- Prepare project progress reports and present updates to management.
- Resolve technical and operational issues arising during project execution.
- Maintain proper documentation of project activities and contract administration.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Candidates with additional professional certifications in Project Management will be given preference.

- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Experience in managing high-rise residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects will be preferred.
- Additional Requirements
- Age: 30–45 years (flexible for highly qualified candidates).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of RCC construction, finishing works, and project execution.
- Sound knowledge of BOQ, project planning, budgeting, and contract management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
