Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- Civil Tech Consultant is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy firm providing complete building design solutions — Architectural Design, Structural Design, Electrical Design, Plumbing Design, and Interior Design & Construction. The firm also works with the Public Works Department (PWD) on Feasibility Studies, Masterplan Development, Architectural Design, Landscape Design, Digital Survey & Soil Test, and Interior Design projects. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Architect to join our design team in Dhaka.
- Job Responsibilities
- Assist senior architects in preparing concept designs, architectural layouts, working drawings, and detail drawings for residential, commercial, and institutional building projects.
- Develop 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials for client meetings and design approvals.
- Support masterplan development, landscape design, and feasibility studies for PWD and other government/private projects.
- Prepare architectural drawing packages in compliance with BNBC, RAJUK/local authority rules, and client requirements.
- Assist in preparing submission drawings and documents for RAJUK and other approval authorities.
- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and detail drawings, and coordinate interior execution work at site.
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, and plumbing design teams to ensure integrated and clash-free design packages.
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements, monitor design implementation, and resolve site-level design issues.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, drawing registers, and revision records.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management related to design and project delivery.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
- Membership of IAB (Institute of Architects Bangladesh)
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Architecture Firm, Engineering Firms, Interior Design
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 22 to 40 years
- Membership of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) is mandatory.
- Additional professional training or certifications will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in architectural design consultancy will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in government projects, commercial developments, residential buildings, or institutional projects will receive preference.
